At the Allgäuer Berghof, the apprenticeship as a hotel specialist begins with insights into reception, service, housekeeping, kitchen, animation and administration. Trainees learn guest care from arrival through to check-out as well as the use of hotel software and child-friendly service in a Familotel. The apprenticeship lasts three years and starts each year at the beginning of August; the vocational school location is Immenstadt. Requirements are a secondary school leaving certificate (mittlere Reife) or a qualified Mittelschule certificate, a passion for hospitality, flexibility and enjoyment of working with children and parents. The position is suited to young talent who want to get started in one of Germany’s leading family hotels.
